Starting something new

Capturing nature and its elements is something that has fascinated me from a young age. After shortly living in a place with only one true season, returning to a place with 4 distinctive seasons including big changes in the weather almost every hour, has inspired me to capture moments in nature, with pure light, harsh elements and fascinating surroundings.

In particular, old and majestic trees have intrigued and amazed me over the years. Trying to capture the majestic lines in ramification or robust sighting of big trunks and ancient bark was always a struggle. Taking many photos of a tree or element with my phone and not getting further then my phone gallery did not create an ideal harvesting ground or urge to enhance and broaden my knowledge of the nature that surrounds me and photography in general. With this Blog I would like to actively work on my capabilities and knowledge of the mentioned above. Hoping to see and feel progress in later posts.

Similar to capturing nature in ancient and rough form, bonsai has intrigued me and made me notice more details in trees. Short progression stories and photos of my bonsai will follow later.
